In 1998, Musashi opened our 23000 square foot facility built at 333 Domville Street, Arthur, Ontario providing precision steering and suspension components to a worldwide market. Operations consisted of a handful of assembly lines and nine Associates at start-up. This figure doubled in a month’s time.

In 1999, our plant floor expanded to over 70,000 square feet to accommodate expansion of assembly and addition of machining of housings and studs for our ball joints. In that same year, we achieved ISO 9002 Accreditation, were awarded the Honda Quality Performance Award, and were approaching 100 associates.

In 2000, we upgraded and expanded our Machining Department, attained ISO 14001 Accreditation, and were approaching approximately 150 associates.

In 2001, we expanded our facility to 130000 square feet to accommodate machining expansion and the manufacture of transmission components with the introduction of the Clutch Piston Department. In that same year we achieved QS 9000 Accreditation and had nearly 200 associates. Our growth has continued this year and have increased our associate numbers to over 230.
