At Musashi, we have introduced integrated system to our plants (forging, lathe, heat treatment, finishing and assembly) while demanding high levels of quality and productivity improvements on each process. Advanced integrated systems make it possible to maintain a high level of quality and be cost competitive.
Our reduced machining technologies in the manufacturing process such as net shape forging are another reason why we are highly cost competitive.
We have been changing many products over to net shape forging technology where formerly machining was the only option.

There are 3 different types of forging:
Hot Forging, Warm Forging, and Cold Forging.
We determine and utilize these three forging techniques according to the product's dimensions and the specification requirements. |

Our automated transfer line allows processed parts to flow with fewer operators.

Our factory equipped continuous carburizing furnace makes our carburizing process highly efficient without affecting the micron level tolerances on the teeth profile.

We have installed a fully automated turning (lathing) line to achieve higher efficiencies than are obtainable with the normal grinding process.

The needs of automotive manufacturers from parts suppliers are now shifting from Parts Delivery (single parts) to Assembled Parts Delivery (assembled unit).

 |
Our philosophy is to ensure that quality is achieved throughout the process. We perform in-line inspections and have added an inspection at the end of the process.
To assure product quality, we perform automated full (100%) inspection without missing a part. |
